Those in the know - that is the good people that keep it locked to this here site - will already know that Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is on the cards for release just in time for the annual pre-Christmas games rush that we all love, but our wallets hate.

Taking the rich and evocative setting that served Assassin's Creed II so well, Brotherhood also sees the return of Ezio in a new multiplayer adventure filled with a menagerie of weird and wonderful assassins in Renaissance Rome.

None look more weird than the GameStop bonus character available with pre-orders though. Harlequin, as he's known, is a multiplayer character exclusive to GameStop when you put in your pre-order for the game, and he looks pretty scary in a freakish, clown kind of way.

Sporting a grinning mask, Harlequin might be the last thing you want to see as he bludgeons you to death with an immovable smile on his face. Brrr! Nasty.

GameStop is also listing the game for release on November 1st 2010, but that has yet to be confirmed.

Is this Assassins Creed 3? Basically?

No more of a large extension to the second one. It wont delve deeper into the story its just gameplay

nah, they're gonna keep us in suspense for that lol brotherhood will be awesome though, especially if a lobby system/ private matches are implemented....

it'll be sold as a separate boxed game i think so AC2 disc wont be needed if thats what you mean

Na you need to play the whole game in one sitting, 16hours with a hangover then your know you own the game. All the missions, all the weapons, all the glyphs, all the paintings, stopped looking for the feathers as I thought my eyes were bleeding and my thumbs were about to break wouldn’t recommend it

On my mates account we got platinum the longest day of my life
We looked on youtube the feather locations and we got to the end and had one missing got me pissed of then i noticed in the start menu you could see what district the missing one was in

I haven’t played it again I just look at it in disgust now as I played it for so long in one sitting

Lol i did too many long sessions but i always came crawling back
