| Is anyone else having PSN Problems? i tried to get the map packs but it said it wouldn’t take my details, now i think I’ve blocked it

just spotted this
as we all know the new Modern Warfare 2 Map Pack came out today, and over 1,000 ppl are online right now playing it. This is one of the largest amounts of people that Sony has seen online at one time. The vast amount of users all online at once is causing a high traffic demand which is causing the network to be backed up. Downloads are going extremely slow and sometimes messing up, PlayStation Home is lagging big time. (avatars keep freezing, then moving like everyone's playing Red Light, Green Light) and when ppl are trying to purchase stuff from the PlayStation store, they are getting errors saying the credit card information isn't valid, even though it is.This is also why if you try to call Sony right now you will most likely get an error message saying they have a high call volume and you'll have to call back later, everyone is currently calling in and complaining about them being unable to purchase the Map Pack. Tonight's fiasco was basically a first-come, first-serve, the first couple thousand people to but the Map pack managed to get online and play, but because of that, everyone else who tried after them has been receiving errors.

| Sony just tweeted that they isolated the problem to Europe only and that they may have to take psn down shortly to fix the problem _________________ |
