Q4U... any reason why you use lightroom and not just PS ? What are the advantages/dis ? |

maybe Samit is best placed to answer this. I'd say mainly because of it's UI, raw compatibility, ease of use photo developing enhancements. It's geared more to developing photos taken with dslrs rather than Photoshop is more of an all rounder._________________  |

Photoshop is too much of a varied design tool, you can use it to design all sorts, sigs, banners, user interfaces, websites all sorts, but Lightroom is design only for photo editing, like Ridge stated, its compatibility with RAW files, and its user interface, its completely dedicated to photography mate. I would honestly recommend you get it, even if your not a pro and just use your camera for point and shoot stuff, it will work wonders for you !
