Recently EA and DICE have announced the new feature accompanying Battlefield 3. it will be called Battlelog and it looks strikingly similar to Call of Duty's ELITE service. unlike ELITE though, battlelog will be completely free but offer all the same features. For example, in CoD ELITE the ability to set up a clan will be a premium feature but in battlelog it is free. this could be the start of a massive marketing battle between EA and Activision as the two potentially biggest games of the year get closer to release date.

Never though this could inspire Activision to drop their prices there already threatened by the Battlefield Series with only 2 weeks difference between the games release and people following Battlefield more these days as CoD is just filled with the same old shit just sprinkled in glitter!
But i do love CoD but i shall by Battlefield once the Mw3 hype dies down!

I can't see it making much difference unless mw3 has poor sales they might change the pricing but I can't see that happening, saying that i think it will have slower sales than Blops as people will be worried about it being poor compared to MW2
