British tabloids are calling for the upcoming MW3 to be banned in the UK due to its scenes in the London invasion as 'eerily' familiar to the 7/7 terrorist bombings.

what do you guys think about this? the media going crazy again or is there something to it?

i saw this from gunnshop but its just scaremongering, so to speak, to act as publicity. notice how theres literally nothing about this game actually being banned so im annoyed gunnshop did that.

that'd mean most games would be banned - vietnam = BO
ww2 = most of the call of duty series

i think they kicked up some fuss with the vietnam stuff because its too close to home, but ww2 affected us all, so i cant see why not

It probably just publicity

any publicity is good publicity at the minute. its amazing how MW3 just blew up from a few well timed 'leaks' as compared to BF3's massive marketing campaign which didnt get them nearly as much publicity

I almost feel sorry for EA, but im way more excited for MW3 now

BF3 will be good but i'm only really gonna play it for the Campaign and i'll probably wait til Feb/March next year to get it!
