I have to say this film more than lives up to the original trilogy!

The film is about Sidney Presscot returning to Woodsboro for the tour of her new self help book!
Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette reprise their roles from the previous movies along with a new cast of well known young actresses.
Hayden Pantierre, Emma Roberts.....
Lots of female talent!

This movie is supposed to be the start of a brand new triolgy, i don't see how that can happen but this movie lived up to Scream 1 & 2 and out did 3 by a long shot!

Lots of killings, jumps (my missus left claw marks in my arm from pooing her pants).

But there was one massive downfall in this movie and that was the entry of some pretty weak comedy. As in the other movies you kinda expect a little bit of comedy but this movie had a bit too much, but still falls under the Horror Category.
However some of the laughs had me in stiches so dont let this throw you off!

As for the plot, standard as the other Screams but this time the rules have changed, New Generation, New Rules!

Anybody from the orignal movies are no longer Horror Royalty there just cattle for the slaying and now in a bid to make their own version of the Stab Series (movie about the Woodsboro Murders in Scream 1, 2 & 3.
So the killings are top knotch!

Overall this movie was brilliant, either a perfect end to the series or a great start to another trilogy!
I change my mind who the killer was 3 times and still got the bloody answer wrong!
Jumps around every corner, a few hotties! Great Watch

Acting: 8/10 (most of the actors were good)
Scariness: 9/10

I agree with the comedy thought it was very cheesy at times but the overall film was still awesome.

Like you said one of the best part of the films is it keeps you changing your mind about who the killer is

ps the female talent in it alone makes it worth watching, complete fitties!

I've seen that Hayden Pantierre (dunno how ya spell or say it lol) in a few movies and thought she was quite hot but she was really fit with short hair in Scream 4!

I saw this, and I have to say I didnt enjoy it much.. I thought the ending was rather wasted, decent twist, but complete shit reason behind it.. My opinion only lol.

Movie was decent throughout, I have no recollection of the previous three, so I went into this pretty much unknowing the history.. Caught on again pretty quick, decently suspenseful, some cheesy jokes.. Basically, Jake was bang on about the rest of the movie
