I've heard from a friend that somewhere Infinity Ward have confirmed a MW3 is in development, however it will be a prequel to both MW's, it will be the story of Ghost (the beloved character who is betrayed in MW2) and how he came to be such a machine of a soldier!

Howvere Infinity Ward have stated that they will team up with Sledgehammer games to create the story mode but Raven Software will be developing the online side of the game!

What do you guys think? I have not found any evidence of this statement but there's a lot of people saying the same thing!

What do you guys want from the next MW?

Me personally would like a sequel to the story of MW2 as it was epic!
And as for online i'd like to see CoD4 maps already on the game, some epic new maps and some guns from CoD4 brought back, like the original MP5 and the G36C!

yes ive seen this as well. i doubt they'd put all of the cod4 maps on there but i want the old acog scope back and the M40A3.

MW3 will use the MW2 game engine (confirmed) and sledgehammer and raven are only in on this due to the crippling cuts at infinity ward lol they lost all their writers so have no story for a sequel to MW2

well, i think they should continue the story and all the modern warfare had the best story mode....but for online i want the same quality of guns on mw2 ...hopefully its gonna be wicked
