As me and pepe have said before, last time we played England we beat you and in fairness Pepe and me could probably beat England by ourselves at the moment.
This is honestly why I didn’t want England to win the football world cup. Yes England won the football World Cup congratulations that was a fantastic only 7 other teams have won it, but how many years ago was it? England Won the Rugby world cup again fantastic well done but after they won it they celebrated that they were world champions (and rightly so) but they got stuck into the 6 nations because they knew that your only as good as your last result. (Ireland then beat England which was there first loss so technically they were World Champions after that match ) again when you won the Ashes big party but after that back down to business, England won the 20/20 world cup a few weeks ago, again 2 pages for 2-3 days in the newspapers not another thing has been said so why is it so different for the football?
This is a genuine question why is it you cant watch an England football match with out hearing about 1966 or the spirit of 66 or Bobby More.
Before you start to complain I agree Bobby was a great player and I’ll happily support England when there playing any sport apart from in football finals because they are one of the home nations.
