you both make valid points but I agree JCB there are some stupid degrees/gcse's if you did technology in my school you were then given the option of doing GCSE driving which was basically you drove around a set of cones on the playground on a moped. this actually meant nothing but it got them another GCSE . I used to work with a girl that had a first class degree in jewellery design utterly useless but she wanted to design jewel from when she was a little girl and this was the only way of getting into the sector and shes earning loads at the moment, also what you said about amateurs talking photos is wrong, say 15 years down the line when your getting married would you like it if i turned up and took your wedding photos on my phone? (the photo’s would be amazing though)
